Additional suggestions for safety:
To prevent possible damage from wind gusts, anchor the canopy with cement blocks or secure it with filled plastic bottles or sand bags hung from ropes attached to the roof frame
Never allow snow to collect on the roof during snowstorms as the weight could cause the canopy to collapse
