SDS-Max bits can only be used in an SDS-Max drill. Lots of people get confused on this. So, be sure your drill says "SDS-MAX" on it. If it just says "SDS", then it uses the SDS-Plus style (commonly referred to as plain old "SDS" bits).
Now, we're biased about mansonry bits cause we've been in this business since 1984. You can save a little cash and buy another brand. But New England Twist's masonry drill bits are the most cost effective way to go. They drill further before dulling, can be re-sharpened over and over, and have the strongest carbine to shank solder method out there. We can carry'm all, but we only carry the New England Twist brand because, in the real world, they're the best value out there in masonry bits.
