Standalone models for use on a workbench The 8000 Nitro-Fuzer nitrogen plastic welder combines a simplified analog hot air plastic welder with a traditional airless plastic welder. By combining these welders in one package, it allows you to make quality welds to virtually any automotive plastic. This is a single gas plastic welder that can be placed on a workbench; simply connect a compressed air or nitrogen supply and a 120V power source and the welder is ready to use. It is designed to be used with compressed air, but it may be used with a nitrogen generator to make the strongest possible welds. The 8000 Nitro-Fuzer welder exemplifies simplicity of welding through technology. A precision flow control valve is combined with a flow gauge gives you the ultimate control over how much gas is used in the welding process. To help prevent burning out heating elements, a low-pressure safety switch is incorporated into the system. If the air flow drops too low, the switch automatically cuts off the power to the air heating element. The integrated airless welder is ideal for smoothing out welds, repairing thermoset polyurethane, and adding reinforcing mesh to welded thermoplastic parts. It can also do double duty as a back-up to the hot air welder or be used by another technician for increased productivity.
