"Its a nice generator but not as quiet as the ads make it sound. Its as loud as a very quiet gas lawnmower. You can talk over it easily but you and everyone around you will know its running, even at idle, and even if its outside your motorhome and you are inside with doors and windows closed. It is one of the quietest generators its size and power. Except for that I am very pleased. I ran mine for about 2 hours a day, for 5 days to run trailer lights and utilities, and it used less than a gallon of gasoline. It well might run 1/4 load for 12 hours as they claim. It's gas cap seals very well so it can be carried inside a vehicle with minimal odor problems. The manual specifies the oil be changed more frequently than I thought it would, and changing oil is not real easy. It is not a good generator for someone who wants power all day for a month, but if you could live within 900 watts it would do it for less gas than pretty much anything else."
