Below are Triumph masonry bits, and New England Twist. They cost a little more than some other masonry bits out there. But the bottom line is you'll get nearly twice the life. These brands stay sharper longer and offer more meat on the tip (more carbide, should you choose to resharpen them -- see our Drill Doctor for sharpening masonry bits!). They also are the only brands to still silver solder the carbide to the shank which means it's a lot less likely to break loose when drilling aggregates or if you hit rebar.
